Cohort Schedule

Each of the weekly sessions will be held on Tuesday at 1pm eastern time via Zoom.

Sessions are optimized for one hour but will extend for conversations to continue.

Expert Review:

Manager Presentation Analysis

Each manager will provide our expert with their current marketing pitchbook and also answer a due diligence questionnaire that will look to gather additional information that should be included in the presentation. After submitting the information, each manager will schedule a dedicated call with our expert to discuss feedback and potential modifications that aim to improve your firm’s story and make it resonate more with allocators. This time will also allow each participant to ask questions and gather further intelligence from our expert on how presentations are reviewed and evaluated by manager research professionals.

Matthew Machucki

Matthew Machucki is the Founder of Craft Consulting. The business aims to provide high-quality consulting services to startups, small businesses, and investment-organizations across all business verticals.


 Previously, he was a generalist on the investment team at Flat World Partners, covering all sectors of the startup universe as well as managers across all asset classes. Matthew was also on the investment and manager research team at Colonial Consulting and LVW Advisors and worked in sell-side equity research at BWG Strategy. During this time, Matthew earned his Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst certification.


 Matthew graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Philosophy and Political Science with a concentration in Globalization and Economic Development.

Anthony Kwesi Hagan

Anthony is the Senior Advisor of Manager Due Diligence for Curavest. He is the Founder and Head of Research at Freedomization, which aims to provide manager due diligence and asset class education for alternative investments.

 

Prior, Anthony was the SVP of Research and Education at iCapital and spent 16 years at Crewcial Partners (fka Colonial Consulting) where he was a Partner, Investment Committee Member and Director of Private Assets. He is currently on the Investment Committee at Princeton Theological Seminary.

 

Anthony received a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Millersville University and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Jason Salerno is the founder of Virtue Consulting. His business focuses on empowering boutique investment firms to grow and scale efficiently through personalized client experiences and modern operations that increase engagement and retention across a diversified client base.

 

Previously, he spent 15 years as a Manager of the Institutional Client Management and Client Operations teams at global equity boutique Harding Loevner.

 

Jason holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Matthew McCue

Matthew McCue is a Managing Director of FIN Searches and managing editor of Emerging Manager Monthly, FIN Daily and Nonprofit News.

 

Before founding FIN in 2005, he was a reporter with Institutional Investor’s Money Management Letter. Matt has also written for the New York Times and the Bucks County (Pa.) Courier Times and was an editor for all-news radio station KYW Newsradio 1060 in Philadelphia.

 

He holds a communication degree from Seton Hall University.
